The Hand that Rocks the Cradle

I wrote this the day before Mother's Day, feeling a bit sad as I do each year during the month of May. Although this is a late post, I want its message to be shared with each of you for it was written for those women in my life who have, whether directly or indirectly, shared their stories with me.

A Happy Mother’s Day Salute to All  Women

​Those who have their own children
Those who do not have children but who mother other mothers’ children
Those who mother the rest of us, regardless of our ages
Those with shattered hearts who have buried their own children
Those whose children are challenged with serious physical or mental conditions
Those single mothers who worry constantly about finances and their children’s welfare
A Mother’s Love is Forever.
